Thymeless Bath & Oils uses a natural, soothing shea-butter lotion base, then adds essential oil or fragrance oil (which is often fragrance oil and essential oil, combined). Almost all commercial lotions contain chemical preservatives, allowing the lotion to sit for years without going rancid. Thymeless uses a very mild, food grade preservative. As a result, lotion should be stored in a cool place, such as the refrigerator, if not being used within 12 months.
