We provide wildlife, relaxation, comfortable furnishings, telephone, TV, DVD, stereo, CDs, books, games, and many extras to make your stay special.
If you're ready to feel pampered, come upstairs where the bedroom includes a queen size log bed, new mattress, 2" memory foam mattress topper, 400 thread count 100% cotton sheets, down comforter and a country quilt. One short nap on this bed will make you want to go to bed early and sleep in late. Downstairs we have a queen size sofa sleeper, complete with a mattress topper, 100% cotton sheets, and a down comforter. All bed linens are provided and all are line-dried in fresh air and sunshine. Lavender is well-known for its ability to relax the body and mind, so we provide you with Lavender Linen Spray, from Thymeless Bath & Oils, to help you relax.
Fawn Passage features a well-stocked kitchen, that's ready to cook in or just to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while watching the wildlife. It includes a full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, toaster/convection oven, toaster, and coffee pot, and is fully stocked with new dishes, cookware and crock pots, plus a full size gas grill on the deck. Also provided is a reverse osmosis (R.O.) system to provide you with drinking water, as well as fresh ground coffee (both regular & decaf), hot cocoa, specialty teas, pancake mix and syrup, and a variety of instant oatmeal. We make it easy for you to prepare delicious meals or bake some goodies, should you so desire, as we provide flour, sugar and a well-stocked spice cupbard. The kitchen is surrounded by windows, so it's light and airy and allows you to watch the wildlife while you eat or enjoy your morning coffee!
In the bathroom, we pamper you with with quality handmade soap and lotion from Thymeless Bath & Oils. A blow dryer and two curling irons are also provided.
You can relax and unwind inside or out. Our living area includes a large comfortable couch and cozy chairs to curl up in and watch the fire, read, watch a movie, snuggle or just take a nap. Several cozy fleece throws are provided, as well. Heat is available from the wood stove or from a thermostat-controlled furnace. We provide all the wood for the fire.
The covered deck provides the perfect spot to cook steaks on the grill, watch the wildlife, or just sit and listen to the rain. If you pay attention, you might see deer, turkey, rabbits, blue jays, porcupines, elk or a bear. Remember, all the animals may be cute, but they're still wild - so do not attempt to get close to them.
At Fawn Passage, the summer daytime highs can be anywhere from 50 to 80 degrees with the overnight lows around 45 to 60, so bring a sweater or light jacket. Winter daytime highs can range from 20 to 50, with overnight lows very cold, so you'll definitely need a warm jacket!
